A business plan essential for opening a business account? (UK)? - craft business plan
Proprieter am single and have a workshop, I have a meeting with the director of a bank on Monday to open a business bank account (I have a network card), does not need a loan - of any kind is only one card to pay credit to what they really need a business plan? I asked the director if it is a drawing process and assured me that it was needed only for identification, it really so straightforward? Or is it going to require a business plan? (Nobody!) Lloyds TSB Bank.

No, I do not open 2 accounts and have never had a business plan. You need a business plan if you want to borrow money, I think.
Your accountant will probably tell you to keep your personal credit card and be reimbursed by the company. In this way, you avoid paying bank changes, credit card companies and get to keep the benefits that this cash back / airline miles, etc.
Check what your charges has expired, if the time limit. I saved a lot of banking with Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, which is free for all!
PS Why the thumbs down my answer?

You do not need a business plan, a company is taken into account that only when you try to borrow money to open. Quite simply, if he says it only needs to identify which is all you need. Bank directors are now much better than is the case could even be useful, and I think they cut a lot of paper work today. Good luck in your business.
